The brief
The Child and Family eHub is an online resource developed by medical researchers at the Murdoch Children's Research Institute. It's main purpose is to connect parents and caregivers concerned about their child's mental wellbeing with the relevant information and professional support they require. A significant goal of the eHub is to make these connections more accessible for a CALD (Culturally And Linguistically Diverse) audience.
The team engaged me to develop a visual brand for the eHub that is appropriate and appealing to the target audience, while also lending itself well to a predominately digital output. I was also engaged to roll the brand out across all relevant contexts, most notably the eHub website.
The solution
The final visual solution for the brand logomark uses simple, graphic elements to visualise three key attributes: 1. Child and family focus, 2. Connection and 3. Digital innovation.
The final brandmark was rolled out across a comprehensive brand guideline document, print collateral (business cards, flyers, posters etc), and the eHub website.
